Ethereal (Part 34) Death Day

by Moonlight Wolf
 Age Group: Adult

Before them all Karmia stood just As they remembered it.
Nothing had changed So it seemed to Killian, Kathy, Tricie and Seamus.
The houses were Exactly the same As was the pub And Lord Karmia's manor.
Killian prepared to enter When the servants Of the Holy Guide Arrived in their Brown and gold robes.
Killian looked at them In a state of confusion.
"Who are these people Who wear these robes And arrive as we Are about to do The Holy Guide's work. Why are they here?"
The Holy Guide spoke out. "Do not fear them They are my servants, The most faithful and loyal. They are your allies In dealing with Karmia's evil."
Killian blinked And saw their weapons, He knew that Death day was about to begin.
"How I wish there was Some other way That involved no violence." Was what he said.
"Must it go this way?"
The Holy Guide simply said. "There is no other way. The people of Karmia Are too far away in Their hearts and mind."
"The only way to be saved Is absolute obedience To me and my servants. Come now, Death day must begin."
And so Killian picked a sword And charged in Followed by the servants And the many followers He had brought with him.
Trixie rushed off To find the people of Karmia To try and stop The violence and madness.
Kathy ran off To reach Lord Karmia Before the mob did.
Seamus fled away And went to hide Not willing to fight For he could not fight at all.
He did not know what to do For everything seemed to Have stopped making sense. How was he Supposed to destroy All that he had known.
Seamus was used to logic And analysed every detail But this was beyond logic And no analysis could bring him Any solution to the problem.
Then he heard The Holy Guide. It was in his head, Telling him to kill All those who refused To obey its will.
However Seamus knew How to tell right from wrong He did not need any spirit To tell him that at all.
"I will not kill For these people I know And these people Are my neighbours, They are friends and I cannot possibly harm them."
The Holy Guide was angry No doubt about that It declared that Seamus must die For his defiance.
Again Seamus was indecisive He did not know what to do. He thought of Will And then thought of Faye.
Although the Holy Guide Had forbidden him From going to the Power Haunt He was bound to die anyway So that is where He decided to go.
Author's Notes: Hope you enjoyed part 34. Things are definately getting more hectic and will continue to do so. Here's another bit on Seamus
