Ethereal (Part 36) Reunion

Age Group: Adult
Will and Faye
Arrived at the Power Haunt.
It was unspoiled
And to Faye
As calming and uplifting
As it was the last time she
Had ventured to this place.
Will wished her luck
And left her there
For that was in her hands.
He was going to check on Grissie
For it was a long time
Since he had last seen her.
As he slowly went
Towards Karmia
He could cries
And the sounds of conflict.
Death Day had begun.
The servants of the Guide
Were fighting the villagers
Who were defending themselves.
Will took a deep breath
And rushed into the fray.
He had to find his friends
For he did not know
What was happening to them?
One of the servants
Tried to grab him
But hard headed Will
Nutted him and took his sword.
He rushed towards Grissie's house
Until he saw
Tied to a tree
Trixie yelling out to people
To defend themselves
And stop the Holy Guide.
At least Will could be satisfied
Knowing Trixie was back
To her loud old self.
Will rushed up and untied her
And the two greeted each other.
"What's been happening?"
Will asked.
"What has Killian done?"
Trixie said matter of factly
"He ordered the slaughter
Of all on a list
Showing who is doomed
And who is not.
Both you and Faye
Are on that list.
Where is Faye anyway?"
"She is at the Power Haunt
Where else would she be?"
Will said.
"I am sure she will be protected
But what of Grissie,
Is she alright."
Trixie shrugged
So Will asked Trixie to head
To the Haunt
When Seamus approached
Saying that he would go.
"Besides if the Holy Guide
Has any power
It will kill me anyway
Because I cannot be obedient."
Trixie and Will both agreed
"No you can't." Trixie said.
"You actually have a brain
In you head."
So the three headed off
In different directions;
Seamus to the Power Haunt,
Trixie to her followers
And Will to go and see Grissie.
