Ethereal (Part 40) Tragedy Unfolds

by Moonlight Wolf
 Age Group: Adult

Chaos erupted From every single pore Of Karmia.
The servants of The Holy Guide Were fighting Trixie's followers The villagers (Along with those From Jared Hallows)
There were clashes And there were riots. Seamus did all he could To avoid the fighting That was going on around him.
He scratched his head Trying to remember Where the Power Haunt was. He wandered to the woods And hoped for the best.
He could hear the Voice of the Holy Guide Filled with anger, hatred But also some fear.
It was obvious now That Seamus was heading In the right direction For the Holy Guide's true target Was Faye.
He crashed through the undergrowth To try and reach her Before anything happened. He had been called a coward And the Holy Guide had Threatened to kill him If he did not become A mindless obeying servant.
Seamus knew That he was too much Of a thinker, of an analyst To ever be truly subserviant For true obedience is blind.
He saw ahaead The green stone Marking his destination. He then saw Faye But as he got closer He saw it was not Faye But rather her spirit Giving out the strength That she drew from the Haunt.
Her body was Embracing the stone.
However that was not The only strange thing That Seamus saw.
He could see That once again The Holy Guide Had possessed Killian.
Killian's body Was stood bolt upright And the eyes were filled With a void hatred, As if he knew he must hate But did not know why.
Yet Seamus knew By the way Killian's body Shook like a leaf That the Holy Guide Feared what Faye could do.
Without a warning The Holy Guide struck. One swift swing of the sword And Faye's body Was lifeless on the ground.
Seamus at once despaired And saw at once That Will who was also there Was in despair as well.
The Holy Guide freed Killian Who at once saw What he had been made to do.
He let out an aguished scream And then took the sword That had killed Faye And promptly pushed it Through his own chest.
Seamus turned away And immediately rushed to Will. The two men could not believe What had just happened. All they could do was comfort each other As they heard Killian's dying sobs.
Author's Notes: Yes this is bleak, very bleak. Why am I bleak? To be honest I don't know. It's not over yet however. Tomorrow brings another part.
