Ethereal (Part 41) Trixie's Spirit

by Moonlight Wolf

Age Group: Adult

"Let your thoughts
And your feelings roam free."
The cry came from
Trixie's lips.

It rang out as
She rushed to
Help all those who were
Fighting against the Holy Guide.

There would be no more
Oppression and fear
Of this malevolent being
That thrived on blind faith.

Those who had once
Followed Killian's words
Began to crusade
Against the being
That they had once worshipped.

The servants of
The Holy Guide
Began to falter
Some lowered their weapons
And wondered.

A few new people
Had joined the crusade
Those that Trixie
Would later learn
Came from Jared Hallows.

"Come people
Let us give a cheer
For our free will
And our ability to think
For such precious gifts
The Holy Guide was to take away.
Hold on o your thoughts
And be proud
For you have made your decisions
By yourself without
Some Holy Guide
To tell you how.
We are people
Not toys to be played with
And we are proud."

The people chanted out
For their freedom
And called out their own names
Saying that their judgement
Would outmatch anyone
Who blindly followed
The Holy Guide.

The servants were either enraged
Or confused.
However they were frightened
By the prospect of
Something beyond the Holy Guide.

The people cheered
Trixie's spirit affecting them all.
Trixie departed
Seeing all was well
And made her way to the
Power Haunt
Where Faye would be.

However as she
Walked through the woods
To reach her destination
She could not help but notice.

Above her
Like towering smoke
Were dark and ominous clouds.
Trixie then rushed
To see if Faye was alright
For she suddenly had
A feeling of great horror
In her stomach.

As she rushed forward
To find her friends
A great light flashed
And Trixie felt her body
Fly backwards
Before she passed out.
