May Day Dances.

Age Group: Adult
Sunrise and the sound of bells jingle
down May strewn lanes.
Where white clad men with work
hardened hands
stride to the village green
accompanied
by the sleepy drone of bees,
which they overshadow,
with the music of fiddle and drum.
To and fro they move
dancing the life of Summer in
folding up time in the hazy heat.
