If I did but ask one favour,
Would you have the courage to see it through?
Take a bullet for me, swim an ocean for me,
And tell me there's nothing you wouldn't do.
If I did but ask one question,
Would you look straight into my eyes?
Answer from your heart,
That we're never to part,
And that you'll never tell me lies.
Or perhaps I've misinterpreted,
What we have for something more,
As I'm the one with wounds from lies and well as guns,
And now I've become unsure,
Of the heart I gave so freely and of all the words you've said.
