Brave New World

Brave New World
In a world where necessity is a higher god than Truth
To whom can you turn when your faith shatters?
Resolve and hope are a weatherstained cloak
To be wrapped tight around when nothing else matters.
And yet it is threadbare, and the skin beneath cold
Like the flesh of a dead man lost to his grave.
How can all be a memory when we have forgotten our past
And have nothing to take into a new world we call brave?
