The Fires of Love and Light

Pierce me, burn me
Bear the beams, withstand the heat
Consume me, devour me
Feel the heights, smother my heart
Scorch me, blind me
Ruin my eyes, peel my skin
Posess me, destroy me
The flames of passion incinerate all.
Let the fires of Love and Light
Enter my life forever
Let them consume my cells
Take my breath away
Burn me in their torture
Smother my feelings
Strangle my thoughts
Clog my reasoning
And perish my self.
Choke me, incinerate me
The flames are nigh, the sun draws near.
Shatter me, control me
Within a furnace, deep and hot
Char me, charm me
Turn my bones to dust, my eyes to ash
Break me, overcome me
Burn my throat until I am silenced
Let the fires of Love and Light
Enter my life forever
Let them consume my spirit
Devour my flesh
Take out my sight
Burn off my ears
Crack up my nerves
Smother my feelings
Roar at my shadow
Flash in my parts
Strangle my thoughts
Overheat my sense
Bring on a fever
Clog my reasoning
Make scream out
Fill me with smoke
And perish my self
Author's Notes: An alternative take on the whole Love and Light for even these have their destructive sides. Interpret it how you wish.
