An Alphabet of Pagans- C is for Cyber

A tap, tap, tap
On the keyboard.
A click, click click
With a mouse
Bringing words to a blog
Or a ritual to
A cyber coven.
Behold the online
Where their Books of Shadows dwell
Behold the World Wide Web
The message boards and forums
Come the Cyber Pagans
Who know all on their computer.
Their Book is on the computer
Their rituals are done on the web
Upon the world of
Electricity, binary and numbers.
Who LOL on Pagans jokes
And share them with their buddies
Who email their High Priestess
When trouble is anow
Who are proud upon the net
But perhaps closeted in real life.
These are the cyber Pagans
Sat before a screen
Who can type out any ritual
In the space of sixty seconds.
Upon an office chair
That sits in their own room
Leading a private life
Excet upon their blogs.
These are the cyber Pagans
You know them by their text.
Yet who knows what they look like
If this is all you get.
Author's Notes: No offence to those who are in cyber covens or who do all their ritual work on a computer. Technology certainly gets people connected in a way that wouldn't have been possibly twenty years ago.
