An Alphabet of Pagans- O is for Offensive

Age Group: Adult
They will say anything
That is bound to upset someone.
To them the concept of
Offense and controversy
Is as holy as their Gods.
There are two who fall
Into the realm of the Offensive Pagan
One which calls upon the mind
And one which calls upon he heart.
Those who offend the mind
Do not hold back their opinions
They do not care if you dislike
Their opinion and what they have to say.
They call a spade a spade
They say it upfront
Tact and diplomacy are not seen
As a strength and hold no relevance.
However they do actually
Think through their arguments
And back them up with
Research and evidence
Making it difficult for those
Who cannot be bothered
To do any research find
Too difficult to argue with.
Let's face it...
Some of us need to be offended
In order for us to actually wake up.
Then there are those
Who offend the heart
Who deliberately lie and cheat
Who say something controversial
Something that they know will
Upset people and cause a storm.
Commonly they are called trolls
Who thrive on attention.
Hate sells and they know it
So they will do all in their power
To offend and upset
Even if they do not even believe
In half the rubbish they spout.
Such people deserve one thing...
To be laughed at.
There will always be those
Who go out and offend
In both the good way
And also the bad way
Which way do many choose
Sometimes it can be hard to say.
Author's Notes: There are a lot of people out there who will at some point be offended by something they see either in a book or on a website. There are probably a lot of people on the net who are simply offended by some people simply choosing to practice a different faith of their own.
