An Alphabet of Pagans- R is for Rebellious

Age Group: Adult
Some may be like the
Offensive Pagan and saying
Anything that may cause up a stir.
Many simply rebel against
The mainstream society and
See it as something of scorn.
They argue with those
Who say that it is foolish
To simply stand out from a crowd,
Especially if that crowd
Is but a mob
Filled with hatred and violence.
The Rebellious Pagan
Is right in this sense
They know not to get involved.
Some may have been
Brought up in very strict houses
Where they needed permission
To do anything at all
They then later break from this.
Enough is enough
They rebel in order to find
Out who they are
What it is they truly want
Having these repressed
In their younger years.
It is easier to rebel
In a stricter household.
Some rebel against
Their fellow Pagans
And dislike everyone simply agreeing.
They like to challenge
How other people think
And do not wish for all to simply
Say yes in order to be liked.
Some just like to rebel
Hence why they are Pagan.
This latter group later calms
And either grows up
Or just leaves.
Author's Notes: Well there are always going to be those who rebel against the status quo or who simply like to challenge the way we think. In a sense this might be a good thing as otherwise we'd all act like a bunch of Yes men and women.
