Autumn's calling

Autumn's calling,
Leaves are falling
Birds are soaring,
The wind is assuring
We welcome the change,
We welcome the chance
To look at your wonder,
Save me the last dance
In your honour,
In your faith
I hide in the shadows,
I welcome the wraith
To have this gift,
To see a season shift
In this world,
We all seem to drift
Through time,
Through space
No one seems to care,
So we drift unaware
I see the chance,
To sing and dance
Celebrate for a reason,
The changing of the season

Author's Notes: Basically my thoughts and feelings on how we as a race seem to go through life unaware of nature and how it affects our lives...
