The Dubya Song (not for republicans)

by Jemma Hawtrey
 Age Group: Adult

George Bush, please just go away (Tune "Dance the night away" - The Mavericks)
Here comes my happiness again Right back to where it should have been 'Cause now he’s gone and I am free And they can't do a thing to me
George Bush, please just go away and send Condoleeza on her way Enough of Rumsfeld talking sh*te twitching in the sunny mornin' light
And if you should see them Please let them know that I'm well As you can tell And if they should tell you That they want us back Tell ‘em no They gotta go
George Bush, please just go away Cheney has more than had his day Right now tomorrow's lookin' bright cos we can end your worldwide blight
And if you should see them Please let them know that I'm well As you can tell And if they should tell you That they want us back Tell ‘em no They gotta go
George Bush, please just go away Leave someone else to ‘save the day’ Right now tomorrow's lookin' bright Soon we'll end the Iraqi fight.
George Bush, please just go away with every one thats in your pay Right now tomorrow's lookin' bright as soon you’ll slope into the night

Another one for the radio 2 archives. special mention to O'Neills in Colchester for playing the Mavericks song while I was there and moderately drunk :) . They do a great Caffreys.
This one pretty much sums up my feelings on King George II of America. Plus it has a nice riff and you can line dance to it (yee-haw! *shudder*) .
Thanks to Raul Malo for writing the original & to The Mavericks for performing it :) . All copyrights respected as ever.
I hope you like this one & watch this space for more of the Arthur chronicles and maybe more Telemark....
