Dance to believe

Age Group: Adult
Dance through the circle and around the stone
In the times of old before the dragon was slain
And the pheonix rose from ash and bone
As the werewolf howled by the dreaded wolfs bane
Where magic was life and love and trust
And faieries roamed from hill to stream
And the noble village was good and just
For peace was real, not just a dream
But the happy times of old are long and gone
And the creatures of lore are now forgot
Technology took belief when alls said and done
But nature holds the truth, forget me not
Dance to remember, dance not to forget
The belief is there waiting to be found
Not indoors with computers, T.V or net,
But within every bird, hill, tree and mound
So dance through the circle and around the stone
To the times of old before the dragon was

Author's Notes: this is from work in process, i felt as though it needed to be finished and have only done it this year, but to this day the verse still runs through my mind, as though i should work it into a song, or maybe it was a song and maybe im remembering something from another life. all i know is i say it in my mind and i smile :D x
