by Moonlight Wolf

Age Group: Adult

It's Spring
And the days become bright
We sing
For the lengthening of light
It brings
All the flowering in sight
We fling
Away the doubts of the night

The Equinox has come today
Balancing the night and day
Winter slowly fades away
The light grows strong and it shall stay

On this day, we lead the way
Mark the ram, see the lamb
And the night, overtaken by light
And the field, flowers shall yield.

Our Queen
Is the daffodil and crocus
She's seen
Blooming like a lotus
She's been
Growing strong deep inside us
So green
And the tender is Her focus

She has grown from Maiden fair
Is every bird that is singing there
She shall dance with our fanfare
With Her life, she makes us stare

On this day She leads the way
Upon a ram, with a lamb
Letting light, overtake the night
Over fields which flowers yield.

Our Lord
Has grown to a man
Spring's sword
Held in His hand
No more
Are we on Winter's land
He roars
Upon the fertile soil He stands

The Great God now has His horns
Hidden within when He was born
He shall rise upon the morn
To call the beasts when it is dawn

On this day He leads the way
He is the ram and the lamb
He is light, overtaking night
Upon the fields which flowers yield

This day
We see the hare and the lark
Fade away
The doubt and the dark
Come stay
The light and its mark
We play
As the sun rises in an arch

Spring has come and light has grown
The joyful eastern wind has blown
Reviving all that we have known
Bringing life to what we've sown

On this day we lead the way
Mark the ram, behold the lamb
See the light overtaking night
Upon the fields which flowers yield

See the hare running there
Feel the breeze, in the trees
Note the plants, we shall dance
Upon this Ostara day
