Run the Wild

the necessity of life
growing with force
older than dirt
older than rock
vines intangible tangles
smell of warmth
taste of grit
beautiful
free
wild
my heart the seed
from this place great growth has sprung
giving to the foliage of expectation
given to the blooms of dreams
given to the trance of beauty
given but not taken
from this place great beauty is hidden
small
withered
weathered
beauty of a tear
drowning in a passion
drown
free
wild
wet with failed lust
murdered in emotion
giving the moment no grace
forgotten is pride
a shed tear with no witness
escape from me
run this wild
take away from me this beauty
run
take from me the landscape
see the world in the shell
run
destroy the dreams of weathered trees
root rot
run the wild
break the seed
dry from lost care
run
shapeshift
spirit bird lifted on the breeze
run my wild
