The Land of Eternal Summer

Time is fleeting, running down.
Death and decay await my body.
A never ending round starting
In Spring, and ending in Winter.
(From dust I came to dust I return)
My bones are old in need of warmth
Bur Winters chill leaves them brittle
Easily broken by life’s stones thrown
By the uncaring winds of fate.
(from dust I came to dust I return)
But there is a land of eternal Summer
Where at the end of life’s round when
The last cycle of life is finished where
I will Rest these weary bones content.
