Winter Spirit

Age Group: Adult
Reindeer in a starlit night,
old man with a beard so white,
through cold winter's ice-clad veil
tread the hours, tell the tale.
Mistletoe to each of thee,
gathered round the Holly tree,
day is short and night is long,
mark the season, sing the song.
Child of Light reveal the way,
Eternal Mother guide each day
with Thy power the heart doth lift,
hold the moment, hold the gift.
Be watchful as the hour grows late
upon the night when all await
the warming smile and outstretched hand
of one who touches all the land.
