the sacred land
by Forest runner
Age Group: Teen
under the light of the moon the waters glisten,
under the light of the moon the merry dance.
under the light of the moon the all-knowing listen,
under the light of the moon does the Goddess advance
a rustle of the trees leaves,
here comes the gentle breeze,
now the circle is broken
and the sacred space is broken.
over sacred lands, the merry danced.
merry meet and merry part and merry meet again.
Author's Notes: this is my first poem posted here, so don't worry they will improve, I promise!
