Baring Your Soul

Do you remember the day,
I showed you my soul;
let you in to the turmoil
that surrounds my thoughts.
It hurt you to see what it really felt like,
but only now can you see how
much you have changed me,
the irreversible which you brought upon my life,
that shine of pure light into a bay of darkness
Author's Notes: This is about how it felt for me and my boyfriend when I showed him some of my drawings and poems for the first time. Once again I welcome your feedback - Blessed Be!
