Remember Me

Pain and loss
left
unburied and exposed.
Memories of men
live in
heart and mind,
as silence intrudes the rush of life.
Live on through the poppies
and relieve your burdens;
no act in vain.
Finally.
May peace arrive upon the silken petal of a poppy,
dancing in the crystalline November memory.
