Is this what love is?

They say love is meant to be the most magical feeling ever, every person goes through life living on love, either from themselves or the love of others. Well it’s not, love is the worst of the destroyers but can be the best of happiness. And yet again you fall in love you get hurt no matter what happens.
Love is one of the most strongest feelings, you live on love you break on love when it’s over, some people cannot live without it but yet those people who don’t know real love can.
Love can lead to murder but yet it can lead to suicide, love so strong you don’t want to lose someone so you kill them to stop them loving someone else or love so strong that when you do lose someone it leads to suicide because you cannot go on without them.
Even losing someone still alive, you live your life then making there’s a misery trying to make yours better. Is that not just obsession?
What I don’t understand is throughout every person’s life they at least hurt once from love so why try to love at all and go out your way searching for it, hoping that every person you bump into its love.
I wouldn’t know what love is, not many people do, it’s easy to say, easy to believe but what is it truly? Old couples being together for 60 odd years dying together? Well one has to go first, you hurt knowing you may go and leave your loved one when you die and you hurt knowing the other may die first and leave you, when it happens it only leads to a broken heart, losing most of your life, the one you loved.
To live life without love would be hard but understandable. Live life never knowing what it feels like or live life love once and get hurt from it and repaying your grief for the rest of your life.
I suppose never knowing, you wouldn’t learn anything in life, if we are here to learn lessons and experiences, love would be the main experience and lesson to learn but yet it depends weather you want to learn anything in life or you want to sail through the easy way?.
