The Witching Hour

The Witching Hour
We mark the start of the witching hour
Call the circle, raise the power
Rouse the watcher from each tower
Soon enough intent will flower
We dance on throughout the night
Call the goddess, gain inner sight
Work the wyrd or astral flight
To hold the line and guide the light
And Father Time he will silent creep
As we sing, and as we leap
While the world turns in gentle sleep
We call the goddess for those who weep
And night will pass into new day
We bid farewell, go on our way
Will we gain that for which we pray?
You cannot tell and we will not say!
