as i stand here
on the edge of a precipice
i am caught by doubt
do i lead my people into the promised land?
or have i led them here only to die?
we have completed this oddesy, this exodus
through pain and loss. through fire and the
hands of our own race.
but as i stare upon our salvation i am torn
is this really worth all that we have paid?

but its not really
its just a poem
