When we talk to our Divine, We form a Circle.

When we talk to our Divine, We form a Circle
When we talk to our Divine, We form a Circle
When you talk to your Divine, You sit in line
We come to know our Goddess,
And honour her protection
But you order of your God,
What’s due to you.
And yet, my friend, if that’s the only wall between us
Then respect could sow the fields of friendship new
But we tried so many times
To hold our hands out
You hurt and accused us
As we offered peace to you

But worst of all you harried & you hurt them
The children that didn’t think the same as you
Whatever was that bitter spirit that possessed you?
To want to torture and snuff out a life so new
So don’t you tell me that you want forgiveness!
For that is a gift that never can be mine
I guess you better ask your Saviour Jesus
But I’d hurry up, cos’ there’ll be a long line
When we talk to our Divine
We form a circle
When you talk to your Divine
You sit in line
But if that was all that stood between us
I know that everything would be just fine

Author's Notes: this one is based on the chorus part of the song Whiskey Lullaby, I hope for those who love it as much as I do that I havent mauled it too much
its about the attempts of people of different faiths to come together and what happens when a path isnt understood
its angry/sad... but then so is this Pagan at the moment
I wish you all well & my thoughts are with those who are lost and those who are mourning their missing or dead.
