I Cold-called your Heart.

I Cold-called your Heart.
I saw you walking, lover
Aloof, powerful and apart
And with a flash of powder-blue eye
I cold-called your heart
I saw you working, lover
On some dark sinuous art
And with a hands most gentle touch
I cold-called your heart
All those different places
And all those different names
All the different lonely days
And all the same old games
I saw you dancing wild
Like music’s living part
And with a tiny smile
I cold-called your heart
All those different places
And all those different names
All the different calls I made
They never fanned the flames
So finally I turned away
My world so quiet and apart
But when I stopped trying
She cold-called my heart
And in all those different places
I forgot all those different names
For that single smile she sent
Has my heart in flames

Author's Notes: this one I have written as a song and I have no idea how to even think about a tune or arrangement for it! Anyone? *beg*
its about all the time that I wasted looking so hard for something and getting nowhere. I found it when I gave up looking and clicked on someones profile on here, just curious....
