I'm on my feet, you don't like that do ya?
Ready or not, here I come right to ya!
I'm on the road to my satisfaction.
I lit the fuse for a chain reaction.
(Oh yeah) I'll show you who I am.
(Oh yeah) I live to my own plan.
(Oh yeah) I'm gonna take my place.
(Oh yeah) and shake it in your face.
(Oh yeah) It's written in my palm.
(Oh yeah) My futures' in my hands.
(Oh yeah) Save your speeches for another day.
(Oh yeah) and tell your Mom I'm goin' all the way!
I want a life full of love and devotion.
I'm in the mood for a change of emotion.
Life in the mud doesn't give much traction.
I'm on the move for a piece of the action.
I lit the fuse for a chain reaction!
Author's Notes: This song I wrote in protest against those who would try to keep us on our knees, all of our lives.
Why? Life is precious and no one has the right!
We should all be allowed to go our own way, no matter what that way is, as long as we harm none.
I think the last-born in every family should understand exactly what I'm getting at here.
Remember, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
