The Calling

Can you hear the land is calling
Crying out for all to hear
The veils are slowly falling
Removing hate and fear
Man and land entwining
Their fate grows e'er more clear
To Live and Love together
In trust and peace so dear
Irelands heart is singing
No more her eyes will tear
Her children free and happy
Rejoice each heart and hear
Author's Notes: Dedicated to Peace in Ireland. This is the first poem I ever wrote.
