A Pheonix Flies

Age Group: Adult
From the Ashes came I
Dust of stars my birthplace
Residue of fire and flame
Blazing in my fullest glory
Blinding all with golden rays
Burning with passion
On wings of light I dance
And soar across a starlit sky
My wings dripping flame upon the earth
Setting all afire with my joy of life
Finally, exhausted, settling down to rest
I return to the ash from whence I came
Ready to arise again renewed
To fan ashes to flame
And turn the wheel of life
Again as a Pheonix I'll fly.
