If I told you I can't sleep would you sympathise?
Maybe forgive for all I said if I apologise?
You held my hand yesterday, so dare I hope for a kiss?
'Coz if you kicked me in the ribs it couldn't hurt as much as this.
I do so well to play the game, I wear a mask to hide my shame,
but Inside I'm crying!
'coz I've been disqualified, disqualified,
disqualified - for being me.
If I told you how it is would you leave me so bereft?
Would you hold me in your arms, let me drown this pain in death?
If I told you how it is.....or maybe ignorance is bliss.
Shouldn't you know that Aprils' fool is dying for your kiss?
I have confusion in my brain and all this thunder in my frame,
I think I'm dying!
'coz I've been disqualified, disqualified,
disqualified - for being me.
Must I burn in your sunlight or be frozen in your shade?
No ghost, no demon could ever make me......so afraid!
I did so well to play the game but now my heart's so full of pain,
I know I'm dying!
