Give me your hand.
Let me brighten up your day.
Are you restless, disillusioned,
like your dreams have slipped away?
I understand you're craving
for a time you've never seen
and you're anxious to become that someone
that you've never been.
Dry your tears, we'll get away from here.
I know a place within the hands of grace.
Let down your hair, I'd really like to share
the sweetest joy - Ballintoy.
Give me your life
in a place you've never been,
where artists go to paint
and poets go to dream.
The waves upon the rocks
no love should ever miss.
My heart lies there with you.
Let's say forever with a kiss.
Author's Notes: An old song of mine, appropriate by chance for a recent sad local occurrance.
