Your heart is open but your mind is not so sure.
You had it rough and you don't want to listen anymore.
Wish I could cure the storm that tears around my soul.
Wish I could tell you but I keep losing control.
Give me a sign instead of letting me down.
Throw me a line instead of making me drown.
I'm lost in your world, I want to be found,
so you'll be around.
So when perfection walks and her complexion talks,
there's no instructions, no reason or rhyme.
Your eyes are heavenly, your lips are dynamite!
I smile to think of what could happen,
if you came here tonight.
So give me a sign instead of letting me down.
Throw me a line instead of making me drown.
I'm lost like a moth, floating in from the night,
drawn in by your light.
I'm lonely, baby, for twentyfour-seven,
only you can save me.
Take me, baby, put me back together.
Don't ever forsake me.
I lie in wait 'till noon, under this crescent moon.
Feeling so close and yet remaining so far.
Incurably it seems, I'm haunted by the dream,
to be a part of everything that you are.
So give me a sign instead of letting me down.
Throw me a line instead of making me drown.
I'd lost all my faith, now I kneel to receive.
I want to believe!
I'm lonely, baby, for twentyfour-seven,
only you can save me.
Take me, baby, put me back together.
Don't ever forsake me.
