trans. (Behold the gift of the King before Sekhmet, Mother of the Netjeru, Beautiful Eye – life of Upper Egypt & Lower Egypt, Beautiful Lady, Beautiful Godess.)
May this hotep-netjer please Thee, O Sekhmet, hotep-netjer em (e.g henket, te, iaqet, kaa, bener) " [i.e. beer, bread, vegetables, meat, fruit]
"May Thy Ka be fed."
"Hotep Netjert em shabu en imenet her iabyt."
trans. (May Netjert be satisfied with the repast to the right and to the left.)

Author's Notes: This is the wording of an offering to Sekhmet.
Sekhmet is usually given red beer
i.e. beer mingled with pomegranate juice.
hotep di nisu = gift of the king
The offering was always described as being from the king. This was because the King was the spokesman for each person with the gods, so every offering was made in his name.
Netjert = Goddess
I think this concludes my entries re Sekhmet.
