Gwe Corryn (Spider's Web)

Gone from the hand of creator malicious,
Wrought by a will and enchantment pernicious,
Evil thy purpose and dark form constructed,
Come swiftly hither as thou wert instructed.
Onward unswerving, thy flight not delay,
Realising too late that thou art MY prey.
Remain in my strands for thou can’st not depart,
Your life gwayw ends as it pierces your heart.
Now cast I thy corpse where thy forming did start.

Author's Notes: This is part of a defence working where a synthetic web is married up to a real spider's web. Its purpose is to entrap and hold 'incoming' until the Gwayw (a spear of yew) destroys the 'nasty' and the Gwe sling-shots it back to the perpetrator.
Reading the initial letter of the first word of each line downwards, we get Gwe Corryn - the Welsh for spider's web. It's a cute little touch to the construction of an enchantment.
