Dont Scold
Dont scold him in the bitter truth,
That he is cheeky, impertinent, and rude.
And, oh, dont tell him he is bad,
For, 'scuse it all,
He is but a lad.
Dont scold and shout and scream,
Give him a chance to redeem,
For he thought he was having honest fun,
And anyway,
The deed is done !
