Seeking for the Siren

Hear the mournful cry
Of the siren singing,
Hearken to her song.
Luring the sailor
Into her watery lair,
He will be no more.
Feel her seduction; enticing,
Hear her song; arousing,
I yearn to seek for her
The guardian of the gates
Of the sea of my mentality.
Arising from the depth
Of my own unconscious vision,
I must face the siren or die.
Lying in the expanse;
The sea of my own soul:
Pray siren, leave me in peace.
Author's Notes: See the Unconscious as a vast expansing sea, with islands dotted around the place each with tombs and temples and secrets chests. You go on a personal quest as a sailor of a ship to search for them, but beware the guardian of it all. There are reasons they are all locked and hidden within your mind and the siren will stop and nothing to lure and entice you away from your quest or to take back the treasures you have taken. She will feast upon your Conscious with the sea of the Unconsious and soom, you will be locked within your own mind.
Only the worthy may face the siren and live.
