by Sparkling Willow
Age Group: Adult
You couldn’t tell how she feels inside
Apart from the tears that fall from her eyes
As she stares at something deep in her mind
Missing him so bad that she can’t breath
And all is lost and means nothing until he returns home to her
The frosted dew sparkles like diamonds strewn over the grass
And the suns warmth is as lost as her smile
She casts a wish for the cold to wrap her in an icy death so she can sleep
As Each moment passes and feels like a year
She waits for the man that she loves to return
