The Kindling of a Star

Energies circling
warmth rolling on warmth
drifting in the blackness
Clouds swirling
dancing with eachother
one on one
Velvet brushing
softer than silk
soft friction in the dark
Strangers touching
blending together
textures mixing
Spark struck
bright in the black
gold motes in space
Tides drawing closer
mists pulsing together
clinging, clasping, turning
Drawing upon itself
two become one
gravity pulls together
Faster and faster
spark becomes flame
spinning tighter to the center
Shining out into the night
flames burnished red
arms flung out
Embers sparkling
tongues licking
tasting the universe
Sensing the sweet
eating the dust
consuming the bitter
Light up the dusk
bringing in the dawn
a new star is born
