Rhythms of Ourselves

Age Group: Adult
Notes drifting on the wind
percussion rumbling in the air
chords vibrating throughout
steps woven intricately
voices raising in harmony
Weaving, weaving
In and out
up and down
to all directions
Many colors shifting
many-hued palete
Brown, red, white
faces smiling
voices ringing in song
feet stamping out rhythm
One and all joining in
arm in arm
hand in hand
dancing the round
body of our Mother
Traditions of home
diversity in individuality
each weaving a pattern
unique in this tapestry
that covers history
Good and evil
Victim and perpatraitor
Burned and prosecuter
all form warp and weft
all add texture
to the cloth that Mother is weaving
Life, death, life again
we all play our parts
Victor and villian
compassion and hatred
with the scripts we choose
and the costumes of bodies worn
as the curtain draws up
as the lights come on
Step onto the stage
follow the your steps in the dance
play your part
in this divine drama
let your voice be heard
let your life be seen
tragedy, triumph,
all colors, tastes, sounds and feelings
blend to a wonderful saga
don't be afraid
dance, sing, play, join!
all are a part of the divine
Come join!
Add your rhythm
add your voice
add your steps
without, the evolving work
will be lesser
Come join!
We want you
Join Mother's divine harmony
by just being yourselves
