What I am

What I am is a witch
what I am is a mage
I am female
that belives in magick
that belives in people
that has a soft heart
I am not submissive
I am not a slave
I do not want a dom
i do not want you to be one to me
Why can't we be equals
why can't we just enjoy life
living a life with eachother
rejoicing with one another
You feel that you have to command me
when I have never wanted that
I am one that loves you dearly
Why are you trying to make me something
that I'm not
Wake up!
Open your eyes!
Can't you see the magick of life
Can't you see the love standing in front of you
I honor you
I cherish you
and all I have in return
is condesention
is a lack of respect
I cannot live in your lifestyle
you cannot respect mine
I hate the titles of master/slave
you hate the pomp of mine
Soon you will fly away
to someone who will fill the title better
who will join your journey down your path
I am sad, but our trails are forking
I wave as we part
Tears in my eyes
Looking ahead
May the Gods watch over you
no matter where you roam
may they console you
when you are alone
You are you
can't be anything else
I don't expect you to
Please let me be me
I am female
I am a mage
I am a witch
I will not change
Author's Notes: It is very hard to reckoncile differences between people
it's hard to have unconditional love. Somethings you just can't compromise anymore.
