Bleeding

Mother above
help me
I cry out to you
I hurt so bad
My heart has
been ripped to tatters
By my own choices
By my own hand
It lies sadly
upon the ground
Free to trample
underfoot
I surrender myself
to your lotus feet
I tug upon your hem
seeking your attention
This is your child
bleeding at your feet
Will you turn your eyes
down to me?
Soft silk cool and smooth as milk
your gaze falls down to me
Your eyes are filled with pain
Your arms reach out to grasp me
Your perfumed breasts
cushion my cheek
wet with salty tears
sobs racking my body
Arms circle around me
hugging me close
"Hold on to me, " you whisper
"Don't hold on to any others, "
"Hold on to me."
"I will never leave you, "
you say as you look into
my tear reddened eyes
"I will always be here for you, "
Snuggling closer
sobs slowly fading
I hold you close
Close to my heart
