Time

What has happened to the breaks?
why is the world slipping by so fast?
Time seems to be a luxury
I just don't have
Start a project
barely get it done
have to run on to the next one
Drive to work
drive to training
learn, learn, learn
it's all so much fun
I can't seem to catch my breath
Drive to get sweetie
drive on home
dinner, socializing, more work
it's all never done
I can barely get to bed
Taking care of myself
taking care of everyone else
I really don't have a problem
I'm not really upset
Hold on
Give me a minute
just one minute
to remember where I am
to remember who I am
to remember that I do have a place
to take some time in this
big wide universe
Just give me some time
Author's Notes: Sometimes we have trouble remembering that in this rush day-to-day we have to take some time for ourselves. To keep tabs with the Gods on where we are, to keep course and sanity.
