Invocation to the Goddess

Age Group: Adult
She rides the moon through the night,
the black of the sky blesses her beauty
Elegant Lady come to us!
Hunting with her lover in the forest,
sprinting after her prey
Virgin and Huntress come to us!
In the cold of Midwinter's night
She gives birth to the Babe of Light
Sacred Mother come to us!
Wise woman that we find in the deepest caverns of our minds
She who spins the span of our lives together
Ancient Crone, Grandmother come to us!
Crazy wild woman, her blade raised above her head
Drunk from the excess of glory on the battlefield
Lady of change and destruction come to us1
Gentle Sister who gives us the patience to follow our hearts,
the Face behind all our art and deep within our dreams
Shining Muse come to us!
Dancing in the realms of the universe
Mistress of all the worlds
Stars clothe your shining form
Sacred Lady of the Cosmos
come to us!
She who takes on all forms in nature,
whose energy exists in all beings in the universe and all spirits in the realms
Honored Lady who is all, come to us!
May you and your Lord watch over us in this rite
