The Sound of a Broken Heart

When angels fall,
Hear their cry,
They send a broken song,
A song for the broken hearted.
The bell strikes its last,
A shattered song,
Tears fall at its final sound,
The sound withers and fades.
A mother cries,
Her song of sorrow,
Her baby has gone,
Heart turned to ice.
Lovers fall apart,
Only one is heard,
crying out for the one who left,
A sad and lonely song.
A bird cries out,
Tis a lonesome call,
She calls for her partner,
The partner that would never return.
The wolf howls to the moon,
The sorrow that he cant touch her beauty,
He calls with a sad and broken song.
The fire burns,
And with every dying ember,
It calls for life,
But dies slowly and unheard.
The sun shows himself,
And the clouds hold back his light,
He reaches out to the earth,
But her beauty masked.
Tears fall,
Forever flowing in a never ending river,
Pain digging a deeper whole,
Forever in darkness.
You kiss my lips,
Tell me you love me,
And destroy all i had,
I die with my pain.
This is the sound of a broken heart,
A heart tortured,
Love and happiness,
Gone forever,
Forever broken.
