When the leaves fell,
And the first snow flew,
When the birds began to leave,
I heard a call from the sweet, sweet cold,
When the flowers ceased to bloom,
When the angels cried,
Their battle cry heard above the wind,
The wolves howl a mournful toon,
As the snow touches the ground,
The white mist filling the air,
A chant is heard,
Faint as could be,
With the moon over us,
The night became the moon,
The moon became the battle cry,
It become the howl,
It became the chant,
My lady was calling,
She called winter to her breast.
