Summerland

The door opens,
As though it was a glimmer,
From one place to another,
Surrounded in white light,
A bright meadow,
Full of flowers and life,
Pure joy and happiness,
Mystical creatures and people,
Who aren't from our world,
But we have stories of them,
From long ago,
A gorgon guards the river,
Mermaids sing their melody on the riverbank,
And draw you to your doom,
Your wishes are made true,
You can make things happen,
By thinking.
Go down the river with the gorgon,
To the mountains and forest,
Where there are a many strange and peaceful people,
You walk to a place where the clouds are,
They never go away,
The border is cold and dark,
With a large thorn bush wall,
A crumbling castle in the middle,
The flowers dead and withered.
The dark shadowy fire,
Burns with broken, dark, shadowy monsters and spirits,
Sent to suffer and torture others,
In the land of darkness,
The river turned to jagged rocks,
And black tainted water,
With the tree in its heart.
A frozen wasteland,
Full of souls who haven't moved on,
Full of past dreams,
Lonely and sad,
Wanting to cross over,
But stuck with no hope.
The darkness spreads,
And the land slowly dies,
But the tree will survive,
And bring back the light,
Bring back the joy and happiness.
