Winter Solstice

Age Group: Teen
The moon sang her mysterious song as she rose in the dark, dreary sky,
The wolves howled loudly as the stars bounced happily across the moon's beaming light,
The trees creaked, moaned, and shook in the chilling wind,
The smell of snow and incense lingered in the ever chilling air,
The faint glimmer of candles shown through the mist moving in from the chilling swamp,
Lift your candle to the sky and call down the moon,
Walk in shadow through the woods, cloaked in mystery,
Smell the Yule Log burn and light the Bay Berry candle, as though this night will never end,
The Winter Solstice is here, and will soon be gone,
But another year will take it's place among the darkness to come.
