Invocation to the Elements

Sacred Earth, make my soul strong,
Bless the way with firm certainty.
Sacred Air, blow soft and long,
Bring freshness to this circle swiftly
Sacred Fire, burn within my soul,
Light the path of magick before me.
Sacred Water, let the energy flow,
May the magick gain power smoothly.
Sacred Spirit, of all you are,
above and below,
may you watch over all here who belong.
Author's Notes: This I wrote up as it came to me. I felt that some of the invocations that I have read or (pardon me) heard haven't worked for me. I needed something that was a little bit faster and could be memorized a little bit easier for me. Plus, with a few changes that I may need at the spur of the moment, I can be versatile for a protection spell or to provide a mantra for calming.
