True Feelings

The beat of my heart is a constant motion,
The feelings rush through my veins.
Like the rivers and streams flowing endlessly to the ocean,
Letting me know that the love for you still remains.
Yet I am bound by this heavy chain,
Trying ever so earnestly to set myself free.
As tears fall from my eyes like the spring rain,
Knowing that one day it will be only you and me.
My love if I could only make you see,
That you are my one true love.
This is how it will always be,
From the earth to heaven above.
I will be strong and ever so true,
Holding on until the end, knowing forever that
I LOVE YOU.
Author's Notes: This was one of the first poems I have written... I hope you enjoy it and more to come.
