Unwanted Death

The moment always I long for never for me is easy
But now surely is a struggle my breath labored and wheezy
The rope that I have woven is slow and steady strangling
Only one leg supporting the other merely dangling
All strength is lost and I feel my lone sliver of foundation slip
And quickly does the rope's embrace enfold me in its Titan grip
As my vision blurs to darkness and I cannot catch my breath
Thoughts linger not upon my life but rather my unwanted death
These are the visions which fill all my heart with growing dread
Left empty with my inspiration truly spent and dead.
